SHIPPING, PAYMENT and RETURNS INFORMATION
We calculate shipping costs based on the weight of your order. But don't worry - your exact shipping cost will be provided in your shopping cart as you shop. So you will know what you will be charged even before you place your order. Of course you can always choose to pick your order up at our Amsterdam (Ijburg) location - then no shipping charges will be added.
Shipping costs to the Netherlands (standard post, 1-2 working days):
- <200g : €2.10
- >200g : €5.50
Where the order is delivered as a package (i.e. above 200g) then track and trace facility is used.

Shipping costs to Belgian addresses:
During the checkout process you will be able to select one of the following shipping methods
Standard post (4 to 5 working days)
- < 500g : €4.75
- > 2kg : €8.95
Priority post (2-3 working days)
- < 500g : €6.20
- < 2kg : €11.55
- < 5kg : €23.25
- <10kg : €29.25

Shipping Time
In most circumstances orders are shipped using the method indicated within 24 to 48 hours of receipt of payment (excluding weekends and holidays). Delivery time after we have shipped the package will depend on the type of method you choose (as listed above).
IMPORTANT NOTE: Once packages have been shipped, The postal service or the courier is responsible for delivery. We do not insure packages - if you would like your order insured, please request this when you check out.
Out of Stock Items
If an item is not in stock, customers will be contacted as soon as is possible.
BTW and VAT
All product and shipping prices displayed by default are inclusive of Dutch VAT (19%). The KvK number of the Baby Orchard is 34321952.
In the case that you choose to ship to Belgium instead of the Netherlands, the prices will be updated to only include Irish VAT. The VAT registration number for Baby Orchard Limited is 6397682C. Once you create and login in to a Belgian account all the pricing information will be automatically updated.
Payment
We accept payment:
- by electronic bank transfer (contact us if you require international details)
- by Visa, MasterCard or Laser.
- by PayPal
We process payment as we ship out orders so that in the case that a part of your order is delayed for any reason it will not be charged until the items are shipped. The exception to this is paypal as this is an external system the full amount is debited at time of purchase. If there is any overcharge you will be refunded the difference.
Our Returns Policy
Unused, unwashed products can be exchanged or returned for a refund for up to 28 days after purchase (from date of purchase). We will refund the price, less the cost of;
* the postage incurred
* any free items included in the original order (unless also returned)
* any discounts applied to the order because of the returned item
We do not offer refunds or credits for items which have been washed, worn or used unless they are faulty.
Customers are responsible for the shipping costs of returning or exchanging an item. Before you send the package back, please contact us for a Return Order Code which then needs to be included in your returned package.
